At Moench Method Bodywork, our team forms the beating heart and soul of our practice.

With unwavering dedication, compassion, and expertise, ourlicensed massage therapists are committed to guiding you on your transformative healing journey.

Our founder, Ken Moench, has 30+ years of specialized experience in rehabilitation and injury prevention. Subsequently, his knowledge has shaped our unique approach. This team comprises talented professionals that were all trained by Ken himself.  They share a common mission: to bring real solutions and lasting relief to our valued clients.

Most importantly, all of our therapists have chosen to work with us because they have the drive to help people! Interestingly, many of them were past clients that experienced how life changing the work was for them. Others heard about us by word of mouth and stopped in to see if we lived up to what they’d heard.

Growing up, sports has always been apart of my life, especially baseball. After graduating high school, I played Junior College baseball in Kansas for a year, but moved back home after realizing that isn’t what I wanted to do with my life. Now, I’m able to still be involved in baseball by helping other athletes reach their goals. When I’m not being a massage therapist, I’m in the gym training, and planning on doing my first bodybuilding show in the near future.

female massage therapist

Diana Gates

Licensed Massage Therapist

Location: Round Rock

I made my way to Moench Method Bodywork in 2016. Having just fallen in love with triathlons, I signed up for my 1st 70.3 Ironman in Wilmington, North Carolina.  Midway in my training plan, I ended up with severe shin splints where I was told to stop running or I would end up with a fracture.  I started physical therapy, acupuncture, and others, but nothing would stop the pain, much less get me ready for the race. Not wanting to stop, I looked for other alternatives.  Cue Ken and his bodywork method. I walked in, limping in pain, and walked out pain-free.

After 35 years I left healthcare, with my last position as an IT Process Owner, to pursue my newfound passion of assisting others in living a pain-free life.
I love the one-on-one interaction with the clients and assisting them in achieving and maintaining selfcare.

I was called to bodywork after almost 30 years in the corporate world as a technology consultant. I look forward to partnering with you on your healing journey! When not working on bodies, my strong preference is to be outside, ideally near water or/and mountains, where I'm hiking, camping, fishing, birding or just appreciating nature. male massage therapist

Yusef El-Mansouri

Licensed Massage Therapist

Location: Westlake

As a massage therapist, I am not just a practitioner of touch; I am a conductor of healing, armed with an engineer's mind and a heart full of compassion. My journey into this realm began unexpectedly with a mild traumatic brain injury in 2018 that exposed me to the world of chronic pain for many years. Although my injury was invisible to the outside world, it was real. I believe your pain is real, too. This personal experience ignited a passion to understand pain, healing, and the remarkable potential inherent within the human body.

With my professional experience as a process engineer for over seven years, I bring a highly analytical mindset to bodywork. I approach each session as a unique puzzle, crafting a tailored treatment plan to untangle the knots and restore balance. I am here to alleviate your pain, restore your well-being, and guide you toward a life of vitality. Outside of massage therapy, you'll find me pursuing a variety of interests — gymnastic strength training, Latin dancing, camping, backpacking, cooking, baking sourdough bread, photography, travel, reading, drawing, sports leagues, and more. These hobbies keep both my body and mind agile, ready to provide you with the utmost care.

Emily Owen

Licensed Massage Therapist

The Moench Method is a modality all its own. I had previously been to chiropractors, bodyworkers, physical therapist for any and all pain, but I found Moench Method Bodywork after a car accident in 2019. I was relieved of all my neck pain, low back pain and pains that had been unearthed during the process of my treatment.

Being an avid mover and a Pilates Instructor, I could feel the difference in how my body moved and felt in my practice. Consequently, I am passionate about helping my clients move better and feel better. Having experienced the shift in my body I knew that getting my license in Massage Therapy was my next step and, immediately after graduating from TLC, I started my journey to learn the Moench Method under Ken's tutelage.

While exploring the Moench Method YouTube channel, I quickly realized that this approach was geniune and effective.
